Well it’s official; The Watering Hole Saloon is a classic. "THE HOLE" has provided a place in New Braunfels with great music, plenty of sports, a variety of fun bar games plus many, many great people for over 20 years. What’s kept its long-lasting appeal must be its “something for everyone” attitude. - No one knew what Bob visualized when he purchased the 600 square-foot icehouse back in 1986.
The heart of The Watering Hole is its hand carved bar crafted by chainsaw artist Terry Boquist. This unique work depicts local high school mascots, the New Braunfels Unicorn and the Canyon Cougar, along with Texas cowboys and longhorns and unusual tubers floating the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers. You can admire the works of art while enjoying 1 of the 70 brands of beer or a refreshing cocktail from a wide variety of top shelf spirits.
This is the place for “fun and games”. Pool, foosball, shuffleboard, electronic darts, hockey, video golf, tabletop video games, and a unique “poker” dice table will keep you entertained for hours. Test your skills and knowledge on NTN Buzztime Games that include Texas Hold’em, Blackjack and Trivia. Thirty-four satellite TV’s, plus two 12-foot big screens are always displaying sporting events. You can enjoy any and all Sunday NFL Ticket games, plus NCAA games on Saturday. New and old friends gather here for all the fun that is offered.
Can’t sit still? Head over to the large dance area with its state-of-the-art lighting and sound system. The latest Internet TouchTune Jukebox has a gazillion songs to choose from for your dancing pleasure. Fridays and Saturdays offer a DJ to spin your favorites. Tuesdays are a nice change if live music is your choice. But if you want to be your own star, Karaoke is available on Thursdays.
Many of your favorite athletes and entertainers have a spot of their own displayed on the walls. The many different memorabilia will keep you busy for hours.
